I know what you are thinking...what is The LGM Project?

 

The story is really quite simple. While in college, my best friend decided to start an online magazine called The LGM Project. Naturally he asked me to be a part of his new creative project, and like a good best friend, I obliged. Soon I became a key content contributor and assumed the editor role for all content published. 

 

Our objective was simple...observe, report, and have fun doing it. The LGM Project was an open platform for us to voice our opinions, share cool content, and let the creative juices flow. There were no boundaries, guidelines, or paychecks. Only a group of friends sharing their interests and passions with the world wide web.

 

On our journey, we were able to experience several successes...

• Garnered media access to the Agenda Trade Show and Vans Warped Tour

• Conducted interviews with:

  • Bands on Vans Warped Tour

  • Nike 6.0 Athlete - Paul Rodriguez Jr.

  • Grenade Snowboard Athlete - Danny Kass

• Developed a solid following of around 1,000 loyal readers that spanned several countries

• Featured in Fresno State's campus newspaper "The Collegian"

In the end, The LGM Project was just a creative outlet for a group of ambitious college kids. However, hindsight is always 20/20. The LGM Project gave us the opportunity to pave our own creative road without constraint...and I think that's pretty awesome.
